What Information Is Collected?

For user registration process, you will be required to choose a strong password and you shall provide correct information on our website while creating your account. You will be responsible to maintain the confidentiality of your password. We reserve all rights to access, share, communicate, convey, and disseminate some or all of the customer specific information to the extent it is permissible under the applicable laws in India, in order to provide better Services to the Users. We make sure to store and protect your personal information which includes sensitive financial information, if collected, by employing adequate and reasonable security measures in accordance with Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Rules thereunder.

Access Rights to Content

A variety of information, text, graphics, data and other materials is available on the website. The content available on the Website shall be used solely for your non-commercial use and/or to benefit from the products, services intimated on the website. No right, title or interest in any content is transferred to you, whether as a result of downloading or reproducing such content or otherwise. The website reserves complete ownership, title and full intellectual property rights in all content uploaded by Us. Except as expressly authorized by this Terms, you may not use, alter, copy, distribute, transmit, or derive another work from any Content obtained from the Website or the service. Complete ownership, title and full intellectual property rights in all works/content uploaded by any user on the website belongs to such user. The website grants you a nonexclusive, non-transferable, revocable, limited rights to view the content retrieved from the website only for your personal, non-commercial use, provided that you do not remove or obscure any copyright notice, trademark notice, or other proprietary rights notices displayed on or in conjunction with the Content. You may not use any content available via the website in any other manner or for any purpose without the prior written permission of the website. All rights not expressly granted in this Terms are expressly reserved to Us. City Jewellers may at any time modify, discontinue, or suspend its operation of this website, or any part thereof, temporarily or permanently, without notice to you.

Exit Policy & Transfer of Ownership

In case the contract between us and the user has expired and the user decides not to renew the contract or extend services, We can, upon request, transfer the ownership of the display number to the User. The following conditions will dictate this policy:

  • Virtual mobile numbers or Tollfree numbers shall be transferrable as per the guidelines of Department of Telecommunications, Govt. of India.
  • If you were offered a discount on vanity numbers then on transfer, if any, you will be liable to pay vanity charges to complete the transfer process.
  • We will charge a nominal fee of INR 2500 to assist with the transfer of ownership.
  • In case the User decides to initiate the process on his/her own, We will terminate & release the number from Our end and the User will have to contact the telecom operator directly to obtain the ownership of the number. In this case, the User does not have to pay any fees to Us for transfer of ownership.
  • The transfer process should be completed within 7 days of expiry or contract or services.
  • We reserve the right to charge the User up to INR 5000 as a security deposit against the aforementioned charges. Any part of unused amount will be refunded back to the User after the transfer of ownership is complete.

How Is Such Information Used?

City Jewellers uses the personal identity information and other collected information in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Policy. If you provide personal identity information for a certain reason, we may use the personal identity information in connection with the reason for which it was provided. For instance, if you contact us by e-mail, we will use the personal identity information you provide share solutions to all your queries. Also, if you provide personal identity information in order to obtain access to the City Jewellers website or services, we will use such information to provide you with access to such services and to monitor your use of such services. Your personal identity information may be used to provide you with new product information and support services offered on the website, to notify you of technical updates or changes in policy, to improve the content and functionality of the City Jewellers website and services, to help us better understand our users, or to deliver other services related regular information, new addons information etc.

Please remember that City Jewellers is not responsible for the policies and practices of third-party application providers, and City Jewellers shall have no liability arising from any action of any such provider as it concerns your data or information or otherwise. In connection with your use of any such third-party applications, please review carefully the applicable privacy policies each such third-party application provider to become familiar with their policies and practices as it concerns your data and information. Business Transfers: As we develop our business, we might sell or buy businesses or assets. In the event of a corporate sale, merger, reorganization, dissolution or similar event, personal identity information might be transferred in the form of assets. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer or successor of City Jewellers may continue to use your information as set forth in this policy. Related Companies: We may also share your personal identity information with any entity that is affiliated with us for purposes consistent with this Privacy Policy. Agents, Consultants and Related Third Parties: City Jewellers, like many businesses, sometimes uses other companies to perform certain business-related functions.
